"Artist extraordinaire, Jenny Henley, is one of the most creative artisans of her time. Influenced heavily by American artist Robert Rauschenburg, Henley combines non-traditional materials and objects in various mediums to inspire wide-eyed gallery-goers with her abstract expressionism. This complex ability to unify such elements as glass, photography and painting is truly a wonderful unique perspective in mixed media and makes for oneinteresting showing." Natalia Gonzalez editor of Jacksonville Magazine

Inspiration for Jenny's work comes from Robert Rauschenburg and his transfer "mistake". While working in his studio, he accidentally kicked over a can of paint thinner onto a magazine. The magazine was on a canvas and when he removed the magazine the image was transferred to the canvas surface.

Jenny took the transfer science and created her own formaula. Instead of paint thinner, she uses a series of archival acrylic paints, which lift the image off the paper and create her unique paintings. The acrylic mediums have a more promising result than any other medium.
